Philanthropreneurship in Marbella: A Conversation with María Bravo

Philanthropreneurship in Marbella: A Conversation with María Bravo

When success goes beyond personal gain and becomes a force that uplifts people, communities, and causes—it takes on a truly powerful meaning.

In Episode 3 of How to Live and Succeed in Marbella, we sat down with María Bravo, Marbella-born actress and founder of the Global Gift Foundation, to explore what it means to be a philanthropreneur: someone who blends entrepreneurial spirit with heartfelt generosity.

María shared her inspiring journey—from a career in acting to discover her true calling in philanthropy. She spoke about how the Global Gift Foundation supports children and mothers in vulnerable situations and how it led to the creation of Casa Ángeles, a centre located just across the street from MIUC that we are proud to support. Casa Ángeles provides therapies, workshops, and inclusion programmes for children with special needs in our local community.

Our conversation also touched on women’s empowerment, equality, and redefining success with purpose. María’s story is more than inspiring—it’s a blueprint for building a meaningful life and career that gives back.

We are honoured to have had María share her vision and impact with us, highlighting the role of philanthropy in Marbella and beyond.

This uplifting conversation was led by MIUC Student Ambassador, Dakota Flaget.
