Referencing & Academic Integrity
Referencing is an essential academic practice. It acknowledges the sources you consult, supports the credibility of your work, and helps you avoid plagiarism. At MIUC, the Harvard style is the primary referencing format used across courses. A quick guide to Harvard referencing is available, and our librarians can support you by email or by appointment.
Library Services
We provide borrowing and returns for items in our collection, renewals, and reservations for materials currently on loan. Our information and reference service offers personalised guidance on how to access and use the most suitable academic resources for your subject area. Research support is available to help you strengthen your academic skills, from identifying reliable sources to structuring your research.
Printing, copying, and scanning services are available in line with current legislation. We also manage the acquisition of new materials and welcome recommendations from students and staff. Workspaces include computer stations where you can access online databases, journals, and digital learning tools.
