Law and International Studies
This is a three-year BA (Hons) in Law and International Studies, taught entirely in English and worth 360 UK credits. Your degree will be awarded by the University of West London, UK.
Global perspective on law, power, and international affairs
Law and International Relations shape how countries cooperate, compete, and resolve conflict. This programme explores the legal frameworks and political forces that govern today’s international system – from diplomacy and international organisations to human rights, security, and global governance.
You will study how laws are created, interpreted, and applied across borders, and how political decisions influence global stability, trade, and international cooperation. The programme develops your ability to analyse complex global issues, build clear arguments, and understand the interests at play behind international negotiations and policy decisions.
Along the way, you will strengthen critical thinking, research, and communication skills that are essential in legal, political, and international environments. You’ll learn to approach global challenges with structure, context, and confidence – skills that matter far beyond the classroom.
Graduates are well prepared for entry-level roles in international organisations, public institutions, NGOs, diplomacy, policy analysis, and political consultancy, with clear pathways into postgraduate study, law-related careers, or further specialisation in international affairs.

Tuition Fees
The annual tuition fee is 20,800 €, which includes course registration, tuition and standard study materials, full access to the Blackboard learning platform, unlimited use of the library, visa and immigration support, and 24/7 student assistance across both semesters.
Students who complete their tuition payment before 15 May are eligible for an early payment benefit. Paying the full year in advance grants a 15% discount, while paying for a single semester in advance grants a 10% discount, provided the payment is received before the deadline.
Course registration takes place during the first week of the semester. Choosing not to attend later in the term does not remove the academic or financial responsibilities for courses already registered. Any course a student wishes to withdraw from must be formally de-registered through Student Services.
All students must familiarise themselves with the University’s published regulations and ensure full compliance throughout their studies.
Entry Requirements
To apply for this programme, you must have completed secondary education and hold a recognised High School Certificate, with your certificate and transcripts officially translated into English or Spanish. If you have studied part of a degree elsewhere, you may request a credit transfer. Applicants aged 21 or above who do not meet the usual academic criteria may still be considered if they can demonstrate relevant work experience, as applications are assessed individually.
If you would like to enter directly into Level 5 (year two), you should already hold suitable prior learning, such as 120 undergraduate credits at Level 4 or a CertHE in a related subject.
Entry directly into Level 6 (year three) may be granted to applicants with 240 undergraduate credits across Levels 4 and 5, or qualifications such as a DipHE, Foundation Degree, or HND in a relevant field.
Applicants must also demonstrate English language proficiency if they have not previously studied in an English-speaking school or country. MIUC accepts IELTS with a minimum overall score of 6.0 and no component below 5.5, TOEFL iBT with a score of 88 or above, the Cambridge Certificate at B2 level, or a pass in the MIUC English Test.
Each application must be accompanied by a copy of your passport or national ID, a recent passport-sized digital photograph, your translated high school certificate and transcript, a curriculum vitae, two letters of recommendation, and a Statement of Purpose of at least 500 words outlining your motivation for studying at MIUC and your future goals.
International students should apply early, as Spanish immigration rules require the student visa process to begin at least two months before the start of the programme.
