Rafal Fabianowicz
PhD Candidate in Political Science
Andrássy University, Hungary
Rafal Fabianowicz, is a Polish-German educator and academic with experience across American, Hungarian, German, Spanish, Swiss, and British higher education. He is currently completing a PhD in Political Science at Andrássy University Budapest, following a BA in Social Science from Justus-Liebig University Giessen and an MA in International Relations from Andrássy University. His work has been supported by several notable awards, including the Carl Lutz Scholarship, an Erasmus+ Scholarship, and the Hungarian State PhD Scholarship.
He has designed and taught 22 courses across undergraduate, postgraduate, adult, youth, and special-education levels, specialising in political science, the European Union, globalisation, sustainability, and international relations. His teaching portfolio includes Andrássy University Budapest, the University of Göttingen, Hof University of Applied Sciences, Hesse College, McDaniel College Budapest, and the Swiss School of Management Barcelona.
In addition to his academic work, he leads an EU-based consultancy focused on education, international affairs, and sustainability. Working with clients from the non-profit, governmental, foundation, and academic sectors, he supports democratic, ecological, educational, and social development across Europe.
A frequent speaker and guest lecturer, he has received several young-leader awards. His teaching philosophy is future-focused and reflective, integrating practical experience into the classroom to help students think critically and prepare for the challenges ahead.
