Daria Paprocka, PhD

Dr Daria Paprocka has 20 years working experience for international organisations such as the United Nations, UNICEF, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the European Union and the Council of Europe. During that time, she worked, among others, in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Georgia, Kenya, Moldova, Serbia, Ukraine and the US. Dr Daria Paprocka wrote her PhD thesis on Afghanistan´s political system, capitalising on the experience she had acquired as a Political Affairs Officer at the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan.

Since 2010, Dr Daria Paprocka has been working as an electoral consultant, participating in election observation missions of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, in her capacity of Political and Campaign Finance Analyst or Deputy Head of Mission. She also provides legal opinions on the regulatory framework developed by election management bodies. Since 2017, Dr Daria Paprocka has been working as a Senior Researcher of the European Centre for Electoral Support, where specialises in electoral political economy, electoral violence, and in women participation in politics.

Dr Daria Paprocka is a member of the Scientific Committee of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in Malaga, Spain. She speaks English, Spanish, Russian, and Polish.
