Edvinas Meškys, PhD

Dr Edvinas Meškys is an attorney-at-law at Ellex Valiunas, a top-tier law firm in the Baltics, and also serves as Head of the Legal Department for the Baltics at the affiliate of one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, TEVA.
With over eight years of legal experience, Dr Edvinas Meškys has specialised in life sciences, food, beverages and tobacco, gambling, competition, energy, and real estate law, working both as an external legal advisor and an in-house lawyer at a leading global pharmaceutical company.
In 2016, he defended his doctoral thesis on “Research Biobanks: A Mixed Consent as the Prerequisite of the Freedom for Biomedical Research.”
