MIUC at Marbella 2.0: Shaping the Future of International Education

On May 8th our Dean Dr Beata Froeclich participated in Marbella 2.0 at the Pool Marbella – Premium coworking and business hub for global inspiration, connection, and growth. The event brought together top panelists to explore the fast-growing ecosystem attracting entrepreneurs and international relocators to Marbella.

MIUC was created to offer something different: a British-style education in English, authorised by the Junta de Andalucía, with an international outlook, personalised learning, and a setting that supports student wellbeing and academic success.

The growth of international schools and increasing demand for local higher education demonstrate Marbella’s potential as an emerging international education hub. By offering UK degrees in Marbella, MIUC gives students access to high-quality education without the need to relocate.

While Marbella’s climate, lifestyle, and international community are clear advantages, academic quality and institutional credibility must always come first. Reputation in education is built through consistency, standards, and long-term commitment.

For Marbella to strengthen its global position in education, alignment between institutions, public authorities, and industry is essential. With a shared vision and sustained investment, education can become part of the city’s identity.

MIUC is already contributing through specialised executive education programmes, including tailored taxation programmes for the Argentinian Tax Office, Spanish Ministry of the Interior-approved training for security directors, and cooperation with GIPE in executive education initiatives for the real estate sector.
