Start of Academic Year 2020/2021

Start of Academic Year 2020-2021

Marbella International University Centre campus will be open and ready to teach our returning and new students at the start of the new academic year, as scheduled, on September 28th, 2020.

We recognise that we live in an exceptionally dynamic time, marked by the possibility of abrupt and unpredicted change, and although many factors remain outside of our scope of control regarding the spread of the virus, we realise that we have to move forward. Life cannot stop.

We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic is causing ambiguity and uncertainty, and we have made plans and prepared our resources to teach in the “new normal”, anticipating international travel measures and health and safety requirements.

The academic year will start on campus, with the delivery of classes in the classroom environment and with full safety measures put in place. Please see the Health and Safety Updates on our webpage for more details.

Students who will temporarily be unable to join us on campus will be attending classes online, with complete support provided for visa and travel arrangements, so that we can facilitate their safe arrival to Marbella and to MIUC.

We trust the local government and authorities and their ability to contain any potential new outbreaks on the Costa del Sol. From our side, we will do our utmost to comply with all the measures and requirements to ensure that health and safety come first.

By being a member of the MIUC community, you are part of a warm, welcoming group of energetic doers and inspiring leaders.

MIUC will be ready to teach in September and we are committed to engaging with you as closely as we can, and to delivering a rich educational experience that is safe and protected, to ensure that you continue to get the most from University life and the city of Marbella.

Face to-face-teaching, access to MIUC facilities, and being part of our unique University community are key parts of the unique student experience at MIUC. We are working diligently to create a safe and efficient plan that will allow us to deliver these elements when you start with us in the fall semester, subject to government regulation.

Please visit MIUC Coronavirus (Covid-19) Advice and Guidance page for more information.

We are eagerly anticipating your arrival. Until then, if you would like to become a virtual part of our community, we encourage you to follow our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Your support is so important to us at these challenging times!

We look forward to meeting you in the Academic Year 2020-2021 and being a part of all that you will achieve in the years ahead.

Sincerely,
MIUC
