Soraya Mediouni

BA International Business Management, Class of 2018

Morocco

Meet Soraya Mediouni, a proud alumna of MIUC’s BA International Business Class of 2018 from Morocco. Soraya’s story is a shining example of how studying business can open doors to a diverse range of career paths.

After completing her MA studies and an internship in W Hotel, Barcelona, Soraya was planning to continue her career in hospitality business. However, the pandemic changed the course of her career, leading her to discover her passion for pastry making. She decided to enroll at the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu in Paris to pursue a diploma in pastry culinary arts. After completing her studies, Soraya went on to intern at the legendary Hotel Plaza Athenee on Avenue Montagne in Paris. But her love for Marbella, her favorite city, drew her back. In 2021, Soraya returned to Marbella to pursue her passion for pastry and to explore the real estate world.

Soraya’s career path is a true testament to the power of following one’s passions. She is now developing her own pastry business, while also exploring the world of real estate as a member of the Keller Williams Marbella team. Soraya believes that “…in Marbella, it’s not about what you do, but who you are”. She is relishing the opportunity to be herself and pursue her passions in this vibrant city.
