Newest member of MIUC’s Collaborator Teachers – Fernando Ramírez de Verger, PhD #2

We are delighted to have Fernando Ramírez de Verger, PhD onboard as one of two new collaborator teachers for this semester.

He has a wealth of experience working for some of the worlds largest companies. He will be lecturing Strategic Management in BA, International Business Management.

Fernando holds a PhD in economics with distinction “Cum Laude” from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, complemented with studies in Bangalore (India) on complex mathematical models about price forecasting and systematic risks assessment in the commodity markets. Likewise, he has an international MBA from IESE. Fernando is also graduated with honors in economics.
Fernando has more than 25 years of experience providing financial and strategic consulting services to governments and multinational corporations around the world. Fernando has been M&A responsible for the mergers and acquisitions and privatization departments in world-renowned firms. In this sense, Fernando has been Managing Director and Global Leader of O&G Corporate Finance at Duff & Phelps (Carlyle Group) in Madrid, London, New York and Latam. Previously, Fernando used to work as executive at KPMG Corporate Finance in Madrid and London and at Arthur Andersen in Madrid
