MIUC Inauguration Ceremony 2016-2017
MIUC welcomed dignitaries last Tuesday evening from its partner universities, Professor Dr. Nada Popovic-Perisic, Dean of Media and Communication at Singidunum University in Belgrade, and University of West London´s Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Peter John, Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor Anthony Woodman, and Claude Littner, from the Claude Littner Business School.
Professor Dr. Nada Popovic-Perisic then took to the podium, discussing the changes in education today – internationalization, globalization and the personalization of education.
This theme was taken up by Professor Dr. John, who remarked that MIUC does indeed embody these characteristics, and expressed his delight at the new partnership between the University of West London, and the Marbella International University Centre.
Following the ceremony, cocktails were served, where there was ample opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.
This marks the official kick-off of the 2016-2017 Academic Season at MIUC.
