Learn about tuition fees

MIUC offers several tuition fee discounts for students who pay early.

For the Fall semester starting in October, a 5% discount is available if the semester fee is paid before 15 August. Students who pay the full year’s tuition (Fall and Spring semesters) before this date receive a 10% discount.

For the Spring semester starting in February, the same benefits apply: a 5% discount if the semester fee is paid before 15 December, and a 10% discount for those who pay for the full academic year in advance.

In addition, students who make their tuition payment before 15 May qualify for an extra early payment benefit: a 15% discount on annual tuition or a 10% discount on a semester payment.

Please note that tuition fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Transfer costs or bank commissions are the responsibility of the student. If tuition is not paid on time, access to the learning platform, examinations, and academic transcripts cannot be granted.

Students who are unable to complete their programme within the expected timeframe must request an official extension. For each extension semester, the tuition fee is calculated according to the number of remaining credit points that fall short of the programme’s required total.

Any module that needs to be re-taken is charged proportionally to the full-time tuition fee, and the payment must be settled in full at the time of enrolment. Resit examinations carry an administration fee of €170.

All students admitted from outside the EU are required to comply fully with the conditions of their visa. This includes adhering to immigration rules, procedures, and the specific requirements attached to their student visa for the entire duration of their studies.

If a student visa application is rejected due to incomplete documentation, missing financial guarantees, or any failure to meet the requirements set by the Spanish Embassy or Consulate, MIUC cannot be held responsible for the refusal.

All fees published and paid to MIUC are strictly non-refundable.

Newly admitted students who cancel their enrolment before 15 August for the Autumn semester or 15 December for the Spring semester are eligible for a refund of all payments except the registration fee of €1200, which is always retained. After these dates, no refund will be considered under any circumstances.

Students admitted after 15 August must pay the semester or annual fee within five days of receiving their Acceptance Letter. These payments are non-refundable, regardless of the date of admission.

Returning students who withdraw after 15 August for the Autumn semester or after 15 December for the Spring semester are not eligible for any refund. If a student is suspended, expelled, or withdraws once the semester has begun, no fees will be reimbursed.

Students may only register for classes once the full semester payment has been received in accordance with the tuition fee schedule. Any outstanding debt from a previous semester must be settled before a student is permitted to register for the next term.

Residence permits, academic diplomas, degrees, and academic transcripts are issued only when all fees and charges have been paid in full.

If a student visa application is rejected, the first down payment will be refunded except for the €1200 registration fee. However, if the refusal results from the applicant’s failure to submit the required documentation, financial guarantees, or any other requirement specified by the Spanish Embassy or Consulate, MIUC cannot be held responsible and no refund will be issued.

If a visa application includes falsified, altered, or fraudulent documents, the applicant will be immediately disqualified from the admissions process. No refund will be granted under any circumstances.

In cases of unpaid fees, MIUC reserves the right to refer the outstanding balance to external solicitors or debt collection agencies if a student fails to respond to payment requests or does not comply with an agreed payment plan.
