Ana Cantle – Welfare Support and Career Center
Settling into a new city, a new academic system, and a new version of your life all at once is a lot. Ana Cantle is the person at MIUC who makes sure students don’t have to do this alone. As the head of Student Welfare and the Career Centre, she works with students from their very first week all the way through to graduation and beyond. In this video, you will hear about everything from the adjustment challenges nobody warned you about to the career skills employers are actively looking for right now.
Your Application, Explained
Step 1: Online Application Form
Begin by completing the online application form and sending in your supporting documents. These must be officially translated into English or Spanish. You can upload them together with your application, or send them later by email to admissions@miuc.org.
Step 2: Review & Interview
Once your documents are received, our Admissions team will contact you to arrange a short interview. This is a chance for us to get to know you better, understand your goals, and properly assess your application.
Step 3: Acceptance
After your interview, your application will be reviewed by Admissions. You will then receive either an acceptance or a rejection letter. If you are accepted, you will also receive payment instructions. To secure your place, a non-refundable first instalment of €1,200 is required at the start of enrolment.
Step 4: Admission Letter
Once the first semester tuition fee is paid, MIUC will issue your official Admission Letter. This document not only confirms your place at MIUC, but – if applicable – is also what you will need to begin your student visa application.

Entry Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes
To apply for an undergraduate degree at MIUC, you must have a completed high school education. If you have already studied part of a degree at another accredited university or higher education institution, you may also apply for a credit transfer.
Along with your application, you will need to provide: a copy of your passport or ID, a digital passport-style photograph, your high school certificate and grade transcripts officially translated into English or Spanish, and a 500-word Statement of Purpose explaining why you want to study at MIUC, what you expect, and what your aspirations are.
Candidates who have not studied in an English-speaking school or country must also provide proof of English proficiency. We accept an IELTS score of 6.0, a TOEFL iBT score of 72, a Cambridge Certificate at B2 level, or a pass in the MIUC English Test.
Entry Requirements for Postgraduate Programmes
To apply for a postgraduate degree at MIUC, you must hold a three- or four-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a nationally or internationally accredited academic institution.
Applicants who have not previously studied in an English-speaking school or country are also required to provide proof of English proficiency. We accept an IELTS score of 7.0, a TOEFL iBT score of 95, a Cambridge Certificate at C1 level, or a pass in the MIUC English Test.
Alongside your application, you will need to provide: a copy of your passport or ID, a digital passport-style photograph, your bachelor’s certificate and grade transcripts officially translated into English or Spanish, and a 500-word Statement of Purpose explaining why you want to study at MIUC, your expectations, and your aspirations.
If you have not completed a four-year bachelor’s degree, you may still be eligible to complete the final year or years at MIUC before enrolling in a master’s programme. For more information, please contact admissions@miuc.org.
