Sports
With its year-round sunshine and unique geography, Marbella is a dream for sports enthusiasts. From swimming in the Mediterranean to hiking in the nearby mountains – and even skiing in Sierra Nevada just a few hours away – every season offers something new. Whether you’re into tennis, football, golf, or water sports, MIUC and Marbella make staying active easy.
Football
Students regularly play 5- or 7-a-side football at nearby stadiums, with MIUC’s team even joining Marbella’s local amateur league. Futsal is also available on campus.
Basketball
Once a week, students gather for friendly 3v3 or 5v5 games at Paco Cantos Sports Center, just minutes from campus.
Volleyball
A mini court on campus makes it easy to play 2v2 or 3v3. The ball can be borrowed from reception anytime.
Martial Arts
Renowned instructor Jesús Eguía hosts martial arts workshops on campus, covering everything from kickboxing to self-defense.
Tennis
The on-campus court is open daily, with rackets available at reception for anyone who wants to play.
Table Tennis
A student favourite, our ping pong table is used for both casual games and the popular MIUC Table Tennis League.
Running
The Running Club meets twice a week on Marbella’s Paseo Marítimo, with options for all levels and trips to local races.
Horse Riding
The MIUC Horse Riding Club welcomes riders of all skill levels, offering lessons, trail rides, and events for equestrian enthusiasts.

Vogue Club
The Vogue Club is a space for anyone who lives and breathes fashion. It’s where style lovers, future editors, and creative minds come together to explore trends, develop ideas, and produce editorials that feel genuinely exciting. If you’re drawn to design, storytelling, and the world of high fashion, this is where you’ll find your people. Join us, create with us, and bring your vision to life.
AI Club
The AI Club brings together students who are curious about technology and want to stay ahead of the curve. It’s a place to sharpen your skills, learn from each other, experiment with new tools, and keep growing while you’re completing your degree. Whether you’re building, studying, or just exploring possibilities, you’re welcome here.
Blockchain & Crypto Club
The Blockchain & Crypto Club is designed for students who want to understand the technologies reshaping global finance and digital ownership. The club helps you build a solid foundation in blockchain and crypto, meet industry professionals, and get exposure to real-world applications. It’s an ideal space for learning, networking, and discovering opportunities in a fast-moving field.
Debate Club
The Debate Club gives students a structured, supportive environment to learn how to argue well — and enjoy it. It focuses on the core skills of debate, public speaking, and clear writing, helping members become more confident and articulate in academic, professional, and everyday situations.
IR & Politics Reading Club
The IR & Politics Reading Club brings together students interested in political theory, international affairs, and the ideas that shape the world. Through guided reading and open discussion, the group explores key concepts, contemporary issues, and the thinkers who influence modern politics.
Charity Club
The Charity Club brings together students who want to make a real difference in the local community. It’s a space to organise initiatives, support local organisations, and take part in projects that genuinely help people. Whether you’re interested in volunteering, fundraising, or creating your own social-impact ideas, the club gives you the platform to turn intentions into action.
Excursions
Malaga Sightseeing Tour
Discover the city of Malaga with a guided visit to its historic centre, museums, and waterfront. It’s one of the oldest cities in Europe, full of culture and great food. Places are limited, so sign up early.
Butterfly Park, Fuengirola
Walk through a tropical greenhouse filled with more than 1,500 butterflies from around the world. You’ll see them hatch, feed, and fly freely amongst waterfalls and exotic plants. Early registration is recommended.
Picasso Museum & Thyssen Museum, Malaga
Visit Malaga’s two major museums in one trip. At the Picasso Museum, you’ll explore hundreds of works spanning the artist’s entire career. The Thyssen Museum offers a beautiful collection of 19th-century Spanish painting, with a strong focus on Andalusian art. Both visits include guided explanations.
Aviation Museum & Automobile Museum, Malaga
At the Aviation Museum, you can sit in old aircraft and learn about the early days of flight in Andalusia. The Automobile and Fashion Museum features over 90 classic cars alongside fashion pieces from different eras – a surprisingly fun combination.
La Concepción Botanical Garden, Malaga
Explore one of Europe’s most important subtropical gardens, originally a 19th-century estate. With thousands of plant species, historic buildings, and shaded pathways, it’s the perfect place for a calm afternoon away from the city.
Los Patios de Córdoba
Once a year, Córdoba opens its private courtyards to the public. These patios, filled with flowers, fountains, and traditional architecture, have UNESCO heritage status and offer one of Spain’s most enchanting spring experiences.
Sierra Nevada Ski Trip
Join us for a day of skiing or snowboarding in Sierra Nevada, home to the highest peaks in mainland Spain. Trips run several times each year, but places fill quickly — make sure to book early.
Vía Verde de la Sierra Bike Trip
A relaxed, scenic bike ride along a former railway line between Puerto Serrano and Olvera. The route runs through valleys, tunnels, viaducts, and a protected natural area home to griffon vultures. Suitable for all levels.
Benahavís Canyoning
A guided canyoning adventure through the Guadalmina river near Benahavís. Expect jumps, slides, calm pools, and incredible rock formations. It’s accessible even for beginners – you choose the level of challenge.
