Although fascinating, Spain’s history is nothing compared to the people who have made the
country what it is, a place to live life to the fullest. Passionate, chic, and dedicated to
making every experience count, Spaniards are a lively bunch. As an international student
studying abroad in Spain, you will have no problem making new friends.
Spain, the country of fiestas and festivals! Every village, no matter how small, has its own,
unique celebrations, some of which have become world famous. Students will be surprised
that a country that dedicates so much time to living the good life is home to a plethora of
unique and entertaining festivals! From La Tomatina in Buñol, to Pamplona’s San Fermin,
Carnivals, Las Fallas in Valencia and much more.
“I chose Spain because I’m convinced that is one of the best countries to live in Europe. Living
around people full of life, happiness and positive vibes is really amazing, because they transmit
it to you! In particular, living in Marbella, is something very special! It is a Spanish beautiful
town, with a very high-quality lifestyle, but full of international people from all over the world.
For example, when you will go to the supermarket you will hear at least 4/5 different languages
and I think that is amazing. Being a foreigner and sharing your culture with other foreigner
people helps you to have a more open-minded attitude, to change your points of view and to see
things in a different perspective! This experience literally has changed my life, in a better way.
