All are welcome, especially those in Pre-Sessional or Academic Skills Support. Those Mucians who would care to join us and share their experiences and knowledge would be much appreciated! Don´t forget to sign up by the preceding Tuesday, as places are limited, and we want to make sure to save you a space! French Literature Club
The Literature Club meets at 18:30 every second Thursday of the month, at the Hotel Cristobal (opposite the Parque Alameda) to discuss a specific author and work. Following the discussions, there is a convivial and pleasant dinner with other Francophones. Cost for the dinner: €15 Reservations are a must!
Calling all Francophones to join us on the last Thursday of every month for the entertaining and fast-paced debate on previously chosen subject with the French Club Philosophique. The venue is the Hotel Cristobal (opposite the Parque Alameda), where following the discussions, there is a convivial and pleasant dinner around 20:00 with other Francophones. Cost for the dinner: €15. Places are limited, so make sure you sign up early!
The MIUC Film Club
English-language movie with English subtitles, at 15:00 every Friday. Join us for thought-provoking movies with your friends! Immerse yourself in a world of fantasy, fiction, comedy and documentaries, and add your voice to the heated debate following the show. Popcorn and drinks are served.
The Spanish Language Table
The Mesa de español meets twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays at lunch at 13:30, offering Spanish students an opportunity to converse in Spanish in a low-pressure setting under the guidance of the Language Assistant. All levels of ability are welcome. Students and staff are free to bring their lunch.
In the end of April, we are throwing a big, all day, on-campus get-together for our students and staff. It is a festival full of sports tournaments and fun activities. From the Staff vs. Students football match and a table tennis tournament to a three legged race and dancing. Those that do not wish to participate in any of the events, can just come and enjoy a nice meal, few drinks and mingle with their colleagues, faculty and MIUC staff in a relaxed and friendly environment.
