International Women Day Talk Panelist Session 2023

International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of women and to raise awareness about the ongoing struggle for gender equality. At our Talk Panelist Session on ‘Embracing Equity’ on the 8th of March, we had the opportunity to bring together members of our campus community to discuss these issues and to learn from each other.

We were thrilled to see so many people come together for this important conversation. It was heartening to witness the passion and commitment that everyone brought to the discussion, and to see how much progress has been made in the fight for gender equality.

Our amazing panelists, Christian Aavitsland, Makenna Peterson, Dr. Beata Froehlich, and Dr. Teresa Muñoz Écija, shared their experiences and perspectives on a range of issues related to feminism and equity. They spoke eloquently about the importance of challenging gender stereotypes, promoting diversity and inclusion, and creating opportunities for women to succeed.

In addition to our panelists, we were honored to have Kristina Szekely as our guest speaker. She is a legend in the Costa del Sol real estate world and an inspiration to many women who aspire to succeed in male-dominated fields. Her insights into the challenges and opportunities that women face in the workplace were invaluable, and her leadership and advocacy were truly inspiring.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the organizer of the event, Clara Kronborg, for making this event happen. Her dedication and hard work were instrumental in bringing together such a diverse group of people to discuss these important issues.

As we look to the future, we hope that events like this will inspire and motivate us to continue working towards gender equality and creating a more equitable world for all. It is up to all of us to challenge the status quo, to push for change, and to create a world where everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important conversation. Your passion and commitment are what make events like this possible, and we are grateful for your participation. Together, we can create a brighter, more equitable future for all.
